what’s next?

What’s next?

We never had so much freedom in art as we are having today! The only limits are the ones we set for ourselves.

It seems to be part of the creation process to find new rules – rules that only apply to this one artist or even this particular piece of art.

What a joy it is to be able to find an individual way in the middle of today’s possibilities!

But it’s also not easy to somehow reinvent yourself  constantly without getting lost.

Freedom is a challenge!

I want to look at some older works of mine to decide which road to follow now. This one is a smaller painting  (40 x 40 cm) and I’ve done plenty of variations in the size. I will probably stick to my branches for another while. There are still many possibilities with different patterns and colors.
